Tutoring | Webinar
In the wee small hours of this morning, Pearl and I were talking about what to talk about, tonight on our webinar. Which is kinda funny, since we tend to talk about the same stuff over and over: financial aid "loopholes," mistakes to avoid, how the whole thing works, when to apply, etc. etc. etc.
Then she mentioned that she herself has been surprised this year, having seen a couple of colleges that now require different financial aid applications compared to last year.
Meaning, it's even hard for to keep track of everything in these crazy times!
Tonight, the agenda is to give you up to date information on the "seismic" changes to the FAFSA (the federal financial aid application required by all colleges) due out at the end of December, based on Pearl's in-the-trenches reporting. She's already prepared and filed a bunch of CSS Profiles for our class of 2024 clients, and will tackle the FAFSA after its release. She'll top out at 400+ families' worth of financial aid applications when the dust settles in March-April.
Which means for you, that if you show up to tonight's free webinar, you can hear from a true expert about everything you need to know, financial aid-wise.
This free class is called "Financial Aid Loopholes and Landmines." Here's a quick summary of what's on tap:
- Four legal and ethical "loopholes" on the FAFSA (the financial aid application required by all colleges), hiding in plain sight, that could save you a few thousand smackers...per year
- 10 deadly, money-losing, financial aid eligibility-robbing "landmines" lurking in the financial aid process, that you must avoid like an invite to a George Santos fundraiser (wrote that joke myself)
- FAFSA changes: look out! Here's what you need to know before the FAFSA comes out New Year's Eve
- More, including your questions. We'll be running a live chat.
There's no charge and we are not selling anything. Please share this invitation with everyone you know who needs this info, they will definitely NOT hear it from their guidance counselor or any other "expert." Ditto for you.
